New Skill, Better Player! Asia Elite Basketball Camp’s Off-Season Training Tour in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung This April

Organized by Advance Basketball Academy, the Asia Elite Basketball Camp (AEBC)—Asia’s premier basketball training camp featuring NBA skill trainers—has officially announced the 2025 Spring Camp, set to take place in April. This camp will tour Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, providing professional off-season training for players of all levels. The program focuses on enhancing fundamental skills, tactical understanding, and individual performance, helping athletes prepare for future challenges.

Three Core Themes to Elevate Player Performance:

  1. Build New Skills – Learn exclusive techniques used by NBA players to develop a well-rounded skillset and effective offensive strategies.
  2. Improve Your Basketball IQ – Enhance tactical thinking and decision-making to gain a competitive edge.
  3. Unleash Your Talent – Push your limits and take your game to the next level.

This isn’t just training—it’s a breakthrough! Non-professional players enter the off-season in April, making it the best time for improvement. The AEBC Spring Camp brings NBA-level off-season training methods to all athletes, helping them refine their skills and become more complete players.

With no games during the off-season, players can focus entirely on skill development and growth. Many legendary players—Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry, and more—dedicated their off-seasons to intensive secret training to prepare for the next season. Off-season training is not just about the next season’s performance—it determines a player’s potential and career longevity.

Two Elite NBA Skill Trainers Leading the Camp

The 2025 AEBC Spring Camp will feature two renowned NBA skill trainers, Shawn Faust and Steven Garcia, as head coaches in different cities:

Taipei Head Coach – Shawn Faust
A specialist in NBA Draft preparation, Shawn Faust has trained NBA prospects every year from May to June and has collaborated with top NCAA D1 teams. His expertise has helped players at all levels excel, particularly in the professional and collegiate ranks, where many of his trainees are emerging as future stars.

Taichung & Kaohsiung Head Coach – Steven Garcia
A former NBA Orlando Magic trainer, Steven Garcia has worked with elite athletes, including:

  • Kemba Walker (4x NBA All-Star)
  • Quinn Cook (2x NBA Champion)
  • JJ Barea (NBA Champion)
  • Mickaël Piétrus (2x French League Champion, French National Team)
  • Edgar Sosa (EuroCup Champion, Italian League Champion)
  • Jose Alvarado (NBA Rising Stars MVP)

Recently, Garcia trained Golden State Warriors rookie Quinten Post, who went from an underrated two-way contract player to earning a full NBA contract and securing a spot in the Warriors’ main rotation within just a few months.
